Join us for worship, you will be most welcome
We invite you to our Worship Services at First St John Lutheran Church. On Sundays we offer an early worship at 8 am and a later worship at 10:30 am. The early service is more traditional and the later service more contemporary. We also have two lenten services on wednesdays (11am and 7pm) between Ash Wednesday and Easter.

We would like to remind you about our Online Worship option, as well. This is a great option for folks who can’t make it to First St John’s but would still like to watch the service Online. This is a great option for those with busy schedules, where you don’t want to miss worship. You can watch from the comfort of your own home or when your traveling.
Worship Times
Sundays at 8 am (w/Communion 1st/3rd Sundays) and 10:30 am (w/Communion 2nd/4th Sundays)
J.A.M. Sunday School between services at 9:15 am
During Lenten seaon we have Lenten Worship Services at 11 am and 7 pm
During the summer we switch to one Worship Service w/Communion at 9 am each Sunday
Be aware that we live stream the 10:30 Worship Service and archive the recording so you can view any missed service. So be aware you may be recorded.

Early Worship
Sundays at 8:00 am
Sanctuary
First St John’s early worship services are for the early risers, those that want to get the day going. All services focus on what God has to tell us in the Bible. There are several readings from the Bible, a sermon, 3-4 songs, and several prayers. As you enter the church, an usher should hand you a bulletin, although overhead monitors provide everything as well. You will love our music, Dr Tony is wonderful on organ/piano. After service you are invited for coffee/conversation and there is Adult Sunday School.
Late Worship

First St John’s late worship service is more contemporary, and definitely for those who can’t get up for the early service. All services focus on what God has to tell us in the Bible. There are several readings from the Bible, a sermon, 3-4 songs, and several prayers. As you enter the church, an usher should hand you a bulletin, although overhead monitors provide everything as well. You will love our music, Dr Tony is wonderful on organ/piano and the adult choir sounds great. After service you are invited for coffee/conversation.
